Intro / Overview:
Inheritance is an ongoing research and artistic project developed during the R OPEN residency at R Gallery, Malta.
Over these six weeks, I am working within the gallery space, transforming it into both a studio and a site of conversation to explore questions of maternal lineage, bodily memory, and the transmission of care and knowledge across generations.
Through casting, collecting, and storytelling, I trace how gestures, tools, and textures become archives of inheritance.

This reflection may take some time. I invite you to approach it slowly, perhaps with a cup of tea, in a quiet moment.
Treat it as a journaling session rather than a questionnaire.
